The nascent planet was discovered by an international research team at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The team announced on the 22nd of this month that it had discovered a newborn planet that is only a few million years old, and it is one of the youngest planets ever observed by humans. The research was published in the Monthly Bulletin of the Royal Astronomical Society.
Researchers pointed out that the planet named “2M0437b” was discovered for the first time through the Pleiades Cluster Telescope. The planet is located in the cradle of the planet-the Taurus molecular cloud. The team spent 3 years to confirm the relationship between the planet and its parent planet. The planet is very young and continues to emit lava-like heat.
