CREMONA – Today, 300 women in Cremona have made the choice to prioritize their health by participating in an Open Day event organized by Asst Cremona in celebration of World Women’s Day. The event, dedicated to prevention, offered a range of free services aimed at all phases of female life, from gynecological and breast examinations to oncogenetic consultations.

In collaboration with Ats Val Padana and voluntary associations Aipa, Apom Ets, and Amici dell’Ospedale Oglio Po, the Open Day was a success thanks to the hard work of doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and administrative staff who all came together to support the initiative.

Gynecological examinations and Pap tests were highlighted as essential tools for prevention, with Dr. Aldo Riccardi emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups for women of all ages. Additionally, Dr. Daniele Generali stressed the significance of annual breast examinations for early detection of breast cancer and other pathologies.

As women enter menopause and face the natural aging process, consultants like Enrica Ronca and Enrica Mantovani provided guidance on how to navigate these changes with awareness and acceptance. They encouraged women to embrace this phase of life with a positive mindset and focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Overall, the Open Day in Cremona served as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing women’s health and well-being, and the event’s success reflected the dedication and collaboration of all those involved in promoting preventive care for women in the community.
