The Modena Local Health Authority celebrates International Women’s Day together with the communities of the entire provincial territory, as an organizer or partner, in a series of events which see the involvement of local authorities and third sector associations, aimed at remembering and supporting the role fundamental role of women in society and, at the same time, reiterate the constant commitment to offering health services and support to all women. Among the initiatives there will in fact be both events dedicated to well-being and health, and meetings to remember the commitment against violence and the importance of knowledge of women’s rights. Initiatives that are part of the in-depth analysis that has already seen the USL company publish its first gender balance sheet. In particular, we note:
Friday 15 March, online – “Women’s well-being – challenges and female enterprises for gender equity”
From 2pm to 4pm, the event will see the participation of the Director of Sports Medicine, Gustavo Savino, together with Milena Casalini, President of the Ausl Single Guarantee Committee. The speakers will lead a meeting dedicated to the well-being of women, going through stereotypes and stigmas that affect both personal and professional development. It will thus be possible to grasp the challenges and businesses to promote gender equity in society through stories of women’s experiences, from medicine to sport, to travel and music.
