Il the focus of the evening will be on the CAUa new healthcare structure that is part of the broader reorganization of local primary care and the regional emergency-urgency system.
No CAU primary care doctors and nurses welcome people with urgent but not serious health problems, with mild symptoms: among these, for example, mild trauma, superficial wounds, nausea or vomiting, joint pain.

During the evening, we will also take stock of the other treatment paths present in the mountain area, proximity services that benefit citizens, especially those residing in the areas furthest from the main healthcare facilities.

The CAU of Fanano it will be the third in the province of Modena, after those of Castelfranco Emilia and Finale Emilia which started their activity last December.

Placed inside the Fanano Community House (via Sabbatini 31), the CAU guarantees assistance 7 days a week from 8am to midnight with direct access. From 12pm to 8am it is necessary to call the Continuity of Care number (formerly on call) 800 032 032, active throughout the provincial territory since last summer: the doctors of the Single Continuity of Care telephone center take care of the citizen, providing the most appropriate.
Il CAU works in integration with general practitioners and paediatricians of free choice who are the patient’s primary reference: the doctor, knowing the patient’s clinical history, will also be able to evaluate, if necessary, referral to the CAU. Equipped with first-level diagnostic equipment to respond to urgent needs of low complexity, it is also connected with all local services that can be activated in case of need, such as for example the community nurse.
