The site communicated this food recall by publishing two cards on June 24, 2022. There are two products: one is the Pesto of Artichokes with extra virgin olive oil from Sole and Terra del Vesuvio SRL. The second is the Pesto of Friarielli with extra virgin olive oil, always from the same producer. As you can see from the card also reported here in the article, the product brand is a ‘Luna Suttile.

In the first case, we are talking about the single 570g jars, production batch 318/20A22 with expiration date 31-05-2025. While for the second product of the single 580g jars, production batch 313/19A22. The expiration date is the same, 31-05-2025. The headquarters of the factory in which they were made is Via Santa Maria a Castello, 98 – 80049 Somma Vesuviana (NA).

The reason for the recall is the presence, not declared on the label, of peanut in soy lecithin used as an emulsifier.
