Barbara and Roberto Canepa, the parents of Camilla, the 18-year-old who died in Genoa from complications related to two blood clots presumably caused by the administration of AstraZeneca, talk about their daughter’s health conditions: «She was healthy. He didn’t have any hereditary diseases. ‘ It is a new point, a sign in the path that the magistrates are following to reconstruct what in particular caused the death of the girl from Sestri Levante. After the requisition of the anamnestic form, or the certificate to be filled in before the vaccine inoculation, the investigators were able to understand that the young woman had not declared any pathology or drug therapy unlike what was found later at the Lavagna hospital, in the first observation night before transfer to Genoa. There the doctors detected an autoimmune disease, thrombocytopenia, which implies a lack of platelets in the circulatory system for those affected. Now the prosecutor must understand whether the girl was aware of this condition or not.
Medicines and the role of doctors
In addition to the certificates and medical records of the hospitals where Camilla was hospitalized, the magistrates planned to summon some witnesses. Above all, the vaccinating doctors and nurses: the aim is to understand what information on her state of health has been provided by the young woman. But there is a doctor in particular who could shake the balance of the ongoing investigations: the one who prescribed Camilla drugs taken by the girl starting May 29 for a gynecological problem. Four days after being vaccinated, in fact, the girl had started a therapeutic cycle with Progynova, based on estrogen and hormones, which among the adverse events has precisely thrombosis. Investigators must understand if the girl was aware of the risks, but above all if the doctor who prescribed the treatment had a clear picture of the situation, the fact that she was faced with a girl vaccinated with AstraZeneca.
