Characteristics of carrots
Known as well as in the orange variety in red, yellow, purple, white and black forms, carrots represent one of the most consumed vegetables on earth. Rich in carotenoids and fiber, carrots manage to to prevent the heart attacks because they lower the level of LDL cholesterol, which is one of the major causes of heart disease. Carrots are also able to act favorably with respect to cardiovascular diseases because thanks to the presence of potassium, they represent a natural vasodilator in helping blood circulation and therefore in reducing the work that the heart muscle has to do. The presence of coumarin has the effect of reducing hypertension by protecting the cardiovascular system and, beta-carotene, preventing strokes.

The consumption of carrots allows the absorption of betacarotene, an excellent element to combat some forms of cancer, especially lung cancer. The presence of fibers not only facilitates digestive and purifying functions, but also helps to eliminate cholesterol. Rich in Vitamin C, carrots lift the immune barriers protecting us from various diseases.
Thanks to vitamin A, this vegetable supports good eye health while also preventing any pathologies affecting the eyes. Vitamin B has a favorable impact on the fight against cholesterol and the regulation of blood pressure. It also improves the storage capacity, the condition of the skin, nails and hair. On the other hand, vitamins E are beneficial for muscles and skeleton.
