Closes the medical department of Ghilarza. It will reopen, but it will be transformed

The last patient hospitalized for covid discharged today, the medical department of the Delogu hospital in Ghilarza closes its doors this evening. The staff (including three surgeons and three doctors) will be put on vacation and the premises sanitized.
The Assl of Oristano adopts the same procedure already put into practice a few weeks ago in the Mastino di Bosa hospital.
In Ghilarza, the medical department will reopen on July 5, in two weeks, to undergo a reorganization, as set out in the plan presented by the director of hospital services of the Assl Sergio Pili.

In fact, from next month the medical department will focus on so-called low-intensity care hospitalizations and will then focus on favoring the so-called long-term care, making this garrison a point of reference in the sense of the whole Oristano Association for these needs.
