The numbers of the bulletin: a death of a 72-year-old woman, guest of a structure, 8 hospitalizations in Covid wards and 296 new positives, all from sporadic cases
FERRARA – The Delta hospital has ceased the admission of positive Covid patients in the emergency medicine department (with ventilation activities) and therefore – the health authorities inform – the admission will only concern Covid free patients with eight beds, extendable in case of need for health care. And so, from yesterday (February 22), for the hospitalization of any positive Covid patients, the Delta health workers will refer to the provincial Hub at Sant’Anna di Cona.
This is another good news, which confirms the decline in contagion in the Ferrara area, and which gradually leads the health authorities to modify the assistance, increasingly towards health normality to deal with all other non-Covid pathologies. The numbers, on the other hand, have indicated it for days and also today’s bulletin 23 February (for the last 24 hours), photograph a reduction.
One death was recorded, a 73-year-old woman staying in a facility, 8 new hospitalizations of positive patients in the Covid ward, and 296 new positives, all from sporadic cases (another confirmation of the lower aggressiveness of the virus) while the negative swabs are were 107. And 280 more people who entered home isolation, 435 those who left isolation or surveillance, 6 patients discharged from Cona with ages ranging from 95 to 48 years, 372 people clinically cured. On the vaccination front there were 433 in total: 242 third doses, 144 second doses, and 47 first doses.
As for the region, there were 3 201 new cases, more than 4 thousand recovered and 1,200 fewer active cases. While hospitalizations are decreasing. And unfortunately there are another 29 deaths.
