Covid: 19,981 positive, 207 victims - Health

There are 17,981 new infections from Covid in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 30,629. Instead, the victims are 207 (yesterday there were 144).

12,782,836 Italians have been infected with Covid since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Currently positives are 1,099,934, down 22,344 in the last 24 hours, while total deaths rise to 154,767. The discharged and healed are 11,528,135, with an increase of 40,415 compared to yesterday.

There are 198,513 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy. Yesterday there were 317,784. The positivity rate is 9%, down from 9.6% yesterday. On the other hand, 714 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 19 fewer than yesterday in the balance between entries and exits. Daily admissions are 39. Patients with symptoms in ordinary wards are 10,851, or 17 fewer than yesterday.
