A total of 13,563,466 Italians have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 157,314. The discharged and healed are 12,351,985, with an increase of 55,967 compared to yesterday.

According to the WHO, after a substantial decrease since the end of January 2022, the number of new weekly cases of Covid-19, in the six regions of the Organization, has increased by 8% during the week from 7 to 13 March 2022. The number of new deaths continued to decline, down 17% from the previous week. They have been reported over 11 million new cases and just over 43,000 new deaths, leading to over 455 million confirmed cases and over 6 million deaths globally. This was reported by the new weekly report (n.83) of the World Health Organization.
