Merck’s anti Covid pill is coming to Italy. Molnupiravir will be available as of tomorrow, January 4th, in our country. This was made known on 30 December last by the Italian drug agency Aifa in the note announcing the authorization by its CTS of this oral antiviral and remdesivir antiviral. Two drugs “for the treatment of patients not hospitalized for Covid with mild-moderate disease of recent onset and with concomitant clinical conditions that represent specific risk factors for the development of a severe form”.
