“The fourth dose of the vaccine for the whole population today is not justified by scientific evidence and in no country in the world is it being done. We started with doing it to the immunocompromised and we will verify in the coming days whether to extend it to older population groups “. The Minister of Health said. Roberto Speranza, on the sidelines of the 48th congress of the Italian Federation of Pediatrics underway in Rome. “The scientific evidence – he added – now does not tell us ‘fourth dose for all’, it tells us that we need to investigate and evaluate whether protection is needed for the higher age groups”.
