As waves of the ocean come cyclically, they recede and then spread again. The Covid variants – with the latest sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 – could thus become predictable. So much so as to induce experts to bet on the appearance of new mutations of the virus on average every six months.
The scientific journal has also questioned whether the Covid waves are becoming more predictable
