More specifically, the substantial extinction of the outbreak of returns from abroad, in particular of the Balkan outbreak, has brought the weekly incidence in Ulss Dolomiti below the attention threshold of 50 / 100,000.

The San Martino company nursery reopened today, with the completion of home surveillance and fiduciary isolation ordered by the Sisp (until September 17) and following a negative buffer in the components involved in the quarantine.

Admissions. 11 positive Covid patients are currently hospitalized at San Martino di Belluno, 2 of whom are in intensive care (66 and 85 years old). In the non-critical area are hospitalized: a patient (62 years old) in Pneumology with a severe picture; 8 patients (41, 45, 54, 60, 73, 78, 78, 78 years old) in infectious diseases. Out of 11 hospitalized patients, 10 are unvaccinated.

Incidence. The cases detected in the last week are 97 (-33 compared to last week), with a consequent weekly incidence rate of 48.6 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, slightly lower than the national incidence (50.2 per 100 thousand inhabitants) . The new positives are mainly located in the central age groups and affect the vast majority of unvaccinated subjects, attesting to the effectiveness of vaccination not only in reducing serious cases of Covid to almost zero, but also in reducing the risk of disease (85% ).

Monoclonal antibody therapy. To date, 74 people have been treated with monoclonal antibodies by the Infectious Diseases Unit of Belluno. During the week 7 treatments with monoclonals were administered, confirming the effectiveness of the early management process by the Infectious Diseases Unit. To facilitate the early treatment of Covid positive people for whom the administration of monoclonals is indicated, in fact, the operating unit contacts the interested parties and takes care of the first stages of enrollment for treatment.
