Covid, the first vaccine that ‘comes’ from plants approved

Having more vaccines against Covid can represent a valid strategy to meet more needs and cover a greater share of the population. Today comes the news of the approval of the first “plant-based” vaccine, which is plant-based, to combat Covid-19. The product, developed by the Canadian biotech Medicago together with the pharmaceutical company Gsk, followed all the phases of the experimentation, proving to be effective and safe.
