Desire for a Longer Life Among Spaniards and Exclusive Details of Nationale-Nederlanden’s III Madrid Senior Fair

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), the life expectancy in Spain is around 83 years. However, a study by Nationale-Nederlanden found that 68% of Spaniards want to live longer, with many expressing a desire to live until 101 years old. The study, titled “Longevity: are we prepared for a happy, long and healthy life?”, included the opinions of more than 11,500 people from 11 countries, including Spain.

In response to the growing interest in longevity and healthy aging, Nationale-Nederlanden will be addressing these topics at the III Madrid Senior Fair, which will take place on February 16 and 17 at the WiZink Center in Madrid. This event organized by Eduardo Molet is expected to be attended by thousands of people and will feature the presence of around thirty companies and brands offering products and services for people over 55 years of age.

Nationale-Nederlanden will have a stand at the fair to address visitors’ questions and present its services aimed at the senior public. Additionally, Héctor Ortiz, director of the Nationale-Nederlanden commercial office in Madrid, will give a talk on longevity and the importance of planning for retirement and taking care of one’s health to enjoy the best quality of life during the senior stage.

The insurer’s solution, Contigo Senior, combines protection and health for people aged 55 and over. It offers medical consultations with specialists, podiatry sessions, dental care, and home assistance in case of an accident provided by Sanitas. In the event of an accident, clients will receive capital depending on the diagnosis to adapt to their new temporary situation.

Contigo Senior has undergone improvements over the past few months, now offering video consultation services and enabling relatives to purchase the product for their elders. Clients can manage their insurance through the insurer’s app or private website, and access various features such as making appointments, emergency calls, and requesting medications at home.
