Digital artists in the field for Sardinia in flames: charity collection with Nft

by admin

Sardinia burns: hectares of land, crops, businesses, houses and animals charred by the flames. It is not the only area in Italy to be in full emergency due to the torrid heat wave and fires, but it is the first to be involved in a charity initiative via Nft, the non-fungible tokens that are talked about a lot from a few months now especially in the artistic field.

The innovative charity operation raised 4,200 euros in a few days.

The cultural association The AB Factory, with the participation of Antonio Marras, of the Italian duo Hackatao, made digital works by various international artists available to support the island hit by the violent fire.

Marras enters the world of NFT for the first time with a triptych of works and his little sheep “Lussu”, whose name is inspired by the writer and politician Emilio Lussu, who becomes an icon of this artistic awareness campaign with a “flock” of 500 digital works to color Sardinia.

On the digital.artrights.me platform it is possible to purchase a selection of Nft, digital works each attributable to a digital certificate that ensures their absolute uniqueness, or make a free donation via PayPal or with cryptocurrencies.
