Diplopia or ‘double vision’, what is the disorder diagnosed by Marc Marquez

Seeing double, that is, perceiving two images of the same object simultaneously. It is diplopia, the ailment that the Moto Gp champion suffers from, Marc Marquez, but also the footballer Rino Gattuso for which it represents a cause of myasthenia from which he is affected. The Cannibal – as Marquez is nicknamed – had already been affected by this disorder in 2011 and since then has made several falls always getting by but in the last period the visual disturbances have increased and the visit made to the hospital in Barcelona confirmed that Marquez suffers from diplopia again: a paralysis of the right fourth nerve with involvement of the right superior oblique muscle has been detected.
