When we talk about epilepsy we often don’t think about patients who don’t respond to drug therapies. It is one of the most common neurological diseases in the world but we still cannot cure everyone as we would like. In fact, the World Health Organization estimates that approximately 70% of patients could live without crises if appropriately diagnosed and treated.
