Even before we open our mouth, a smile can say a lot about us: regular or overlapping, clean or stained, teeth reflect vices and virtues, the attitude to take care of ourselves, the degree of hygiene and even social status. On the other hand, together with the gums, the teeth form an admirable example of histological architecture, in which connective tissues, bone and epithelia are embraced.
