Users of both the paid and free versions will get the Picture-in-Picture feature in the coming days. Now Google has decided to fully open it to all users. Picture-in-picture was once an exclusive feature for paid iOS users, and will be available in the coming days as long as the iPhone is upgraded to iOS 15 or above.
When YouTube only offered the picture-in-picture feature to paid users, users found that they could do it by logging into the website version with Safari, but it was later disabled because Google modified the website.
