“He had no hereditary diseases” – breaking latest news

SESTRI LEVANTE (Genoa) – They rely on a lawyer and in the late afternoon of Saturday, two days after the death of their daughter Camilla, 18, who had vaccinated herself with the first dose of AstraZeneca on May 25, Roberto and Barbara Canepa explain that the girl “had not any hereditary disease “. Thus they put a firm point in a story that involves scientific evaluations, a complex medical and health development, a profound emotional torment and, ultimately, the approach to the vaccination campaign of an entire country.

Vaccination and drugs

Also for this reason, beyond the consultation of all the documents which the magistrates have ordered the seizure of the Nas carabinieri, some witnesses will also be summoned. First of all, doctors and nurses present at the time of vaccination, to understand what exchange of information they had verbally with the girl, beyond what is reported on the completed form. And then, in particular, also another doctor: the one who prescribed the estrogen and hormone-based drugs that Camilla began taking on May 29, four days after the vaccination, to treat a gynecological problem. Did the doctor know about the vaccine when he prescribed those drugs? Have you assessed the risks?

The investigation

The investigation into the girl’s death (which took place at the “San Martino” polyclinic in Genoa on 10 June, after two desperate interventions when the clinical picture was already almost completely compromised) will have to try to define the causal link in a chain of possible interactions : Camilla’s clinical condition (known or not), the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine (which according to the most up-to-date data, especially in very young or young women, can cause thrombosis in one case out of 100,000), and the almost concomitant intake of those drugs based on hormones, which have the risk of thrombosis among the main contraindications. A scenario with different elements that could, in their interaction, have added or multiplied the risk factors.

The risk of thrombosis

One drug in particular, among those prescribed to Camilla, is evaluated with particular attention at this stage: “Progynova”, which some medical sources define as an “old” estrogen, very powerful, used only after one screening very thorough and under close monitoring, therefore a medicine with a higher risk of thrombosis. The papers of the investigation will also include the documents of the National Scientific Technical Committee which authorized the “open days” with AstraZeneca (despite being a “recommended” vaccine for people over 60) and the EMA reports on “post-vaccination thrombosis”.
