The seventh edition of the conference “The many faces of rheumatic diseases: healthcare workers meet the population” will be held on Saturday, May 11 at the Meeting Space of the CRC Foundation in Cuneo.

Organized by the A.CU.MA.R. association Odv in collaboration with the Azienda Socio Sanitaria Ospedaliera (ASO) S. Croce e Carle, the event aims to inform and raise awareness among citizens about rheumatic diseases, chronic and complex pathologies that affect approximately 6 million people in Italy.

The conference will open at 9:00 am and feature authoritative speakers addressing various issues related to rheumatic diseases, from prevention to treatment, with a particular focus on fibromyalgia. Topics covered during the conference will include diet and rheumatic diseases, prevention strategies, and updates on treatments, particularly in the southwest Piedmont region.

At the conclusion of the presentations, there will be a dialogue with the public followed by an aperitif. Participation in the conference is free, and those interested can find more information and register on the association’s website at www.acumarcuneo.com.

The A.CU.MA.R. association Odv, founded in 2002, works towards promoting knowledge and treatment of rheumatic diseases, providing support to patients and their families.
