Hepatitis C, screening begins with blood tests for those born between 1969 and 1989

The free screening of hepatitis C, performed in conjunction with blood tests and aimed at people born between 1969 and 1989, began on Monday 30 May in the sampling points of the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital and the San Giovanni Bianco Hospital. Even people admitted to hospital can have access to screening, on the occasion of the first blood sampling performed in the ward, or, in the case of scheduled surgery, during pre-hospitalization. Adherence to the screening is optional and subject to having read the specific information and signing an informed consent.
