The Banco Farmaceutico initiative is possible thanks to the support of 25,000 volunteers and more than 19,000 pharmacists who host the GRF and support it with donations. Who do the donated drugs go to?

The donated medicines will be delivered to 1,900 local charitieswho take care of at least 427 thousand people in conditions of health poverty. An alarming number, especially if we consider that the need reported by these entities to Banco Farmaceutico exceeds one million packs of medicines. It is for this reason that all citizens are invited to specifically go to the pharmacy to donate one or more medicines.

In 2023, 598,178 medicines were donated, equal to a value of over 5 million euros.
