Iliad beats other operators by divulging the cryptic responses of a call center to a customer

Iliad illustrated its new offer for the fixed line in Italy. And during the presentation, the managing director of Iliad Italia, Benedetto Levi, repeatedly stressed the importance of transparency and dwelt for several minutes on the story of a user who called Chiara, struggling with an inexplicable increase in her telephone bill from the operator to which it is linked. Without mentioning the name of the company, Levi initially showed the increase in the bill and then made the audience listen to the phone call between Chiara and a call center operator. “Every word you hear – assured Levi – is true”.

The phone call in question appears to have been at least reconstructed by two actors, although Levi did not specify it. We cannot know if, indeed, the conversation went as it was presented. Nor can it be generalized, arguing that all customers encounter the same problems and increases brought as an example by Iliad, but the story had the expected results at least on those present, who clapped loudly at the end of the audio contribution.
