In the second quarter of 2022, investments in the Italian venture capital reached € 552.6 million compared to € 443.6 million in the first quarter. The number of investment rounds instead recorded a contraction: 57 in the second quarter of the year against 76 in the same period of the previous year. Smart City, DeepTech and Software are the only sectors to have manifested one numerical growth in Q2-22 versus Q1-22 (respectively +8, +3 e +2).
