This fully digital screen grouping consists of a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a control display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches. The steering wheel and gear selector on the center console also feature a new design. The BMW Interaction Bar makes its debut as a new control option, operation and design element. This functional unit, which boasts a highly effective backlight, extends across the entire width of the dashboard and into the door panel trim.
Returning to the Theater Screen with Fire TV it must be said that it allows passengers to enjoy quality content up to 4K / UHD thanks to the support of the most popular apps and allows you to find content very quickly because customers can enjoy personalized streaming using the own Profiles, with recommendations, viewing history and lists of content to view. Profiles also allow customers to play a movie or TV show at home and continue watching it on the go. On a 7 Series you can watch movies and TV shows in 16: 9, 21: 9, or 32: 9 cinema format for an immersive experience.
The screen is positioned on the roof of the car so as not to be in the way when not in use, and can be moved closer or further away from the passenger to have the touch controls at hand and to be placed at the ideal distance for correct viewing .
