“In Veneto we have administered 850 thousand doses of flu vaccine, in line with last year, but some have not yet been registered, such as those of general practitioners. On the Covid front, however, we are running around 200 thousand”. The Veneto Health Councilor, Manuela Lanzarin, reported this this morning in Venice.
The flu peak of recent weeks, Lanzarin explained, has led “to hospital occupancy of 95%, while intensive care is below 90%. In the meantime we have not interrupted any surgical activity in any hospital – he then specified – to difference from the garrisons of other regions”.
