The Ministry of Health has announced the new Regulation for the consultation of data present in the BDN.

General information relating to the BDN, the I&R system and the reference legislation is available on the Operator, establishment and animal identification system (I&R) page (salute.gov.it)

I data present in the BDN that the Ministry of Health makes freely available, are data aggregated by territory and by date. They have no reference that allows the identification of the activities, establishments, operators and have a predefined and non-modifiable level of aggregation (Presidential Decree 184/2006 art.2, paragraph 2). The data concern the number of establishments, activities (including farms), animals and other types of data.

The consultation regulations and related forms, developed by the Directorate General for Animal Health and Veterinary Medicines (DGSAF), fully replace the previous instructions on the matter.

The representatives of the Public Administration (PA) and the representatives of bodies other than the PA who have the right to consult the data of the I&R system, request authorization using the reference form.

This regulation and the relative modules do not concern access to the information contained in the SINAC and to the information relating to the establishments (article 2, paragraph 3, of Legislative Decree 134/22).
