Over 1600 enrolled for 443 places, of which 300 for the traditional course and 143 for the Harvey course in English
Their Green Pass did not “work”: so 20 students waiting to take the entrance exam at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Pavia on Friday, September 3, had to urgently swab before entering the classroom where the test was scheduled.
Problems were caused by the incorrect reading of the QR code certifying the green certificate. The 20 boys (16 foreigners and 4 Italians) then had to contact, at their own expense, a laboratory in the area where they carried out a first generation rapid antigen test (with analysis and result in 12 minutes) which certified their negativity to Covid-19. Another 4 students performed the same test, as they were not yet in possession of the results of the molecular swab performed the previous day in another facility.
1604 people enrolled in the medicine test which took place in Pavia on Friday 3 September. They first underwent the temperature measurement and the Green pass check, standing in the queue in front of the ship, then the actual test, with the questions that will decide whether or not they can attend the course to become doctors. Now they are anxiously awaiting the results: this year the places are about 70 more than in previous years, 300 in the “traditional” course and 143 in the Harvey course in English.
