Of the community psyche, paraphrasing James Hillman, Dr. Matteo Allone manager of the day center Camelot Asp Messina adding that it is in the polis that we find ourselves. The interventions

Federico Basile affirmed that elements of discussion such as cohesion and social inclusion must give the stimuli for the planning of interventions to be provided to meet the needs of the territory, Antonio Barbera declared that passion and inclusion must be the guiding light the activity of a city administrator with whom to face any problem and stay close to fragile realities; Valentina Zafarana referred to the relationship between local authorities and local services underlining the importance of listening centers; Luigi Sturniolo argued that politics should be democracy; Salvatore Todaro declared that a soul is needed to look, to revive a population, a community and concrete help must be offered when needed to solve problems.

Health and social value

Doctor Gaspare Motta, director of the Asp 5 Me Mental Health department, stimulated discussion by arguing that in recent months we have tried to promote projects that put together the health aspect and elements of enhancement of the social determinants of health that today the world of science has understood be equally fundamental to the well-being of people. The needs of decent living, access to income, true socialization are important and the role of institutions must become synergistic.

Federico Basile accepted the invitation to an interlocution linked to needs not only economic but of service understood as social cohesion. Antonio Barbera stated how it is useful to create a bond with all the organizations that deal with the social by intervening to prevent mental and psychological problems and make everyone feel part of our society. Valentina Zafarana referred to the fact that Sicily is the only region that has today provided a stable reserve in transfers to the Asp for a fundamental service with an approach that looks at the person in the round, guaranteeing working dignity, possibility and quality of living close to familiar and normal affections and not asylum approach; Luigi Sturniolo referred to the problem of the TSO considering it a repressive aspect that should be residual and eliminated completely. For Salvatore Todaro, saying and doing are two verbs that indicate static and dynamic. These are two actions that have an increasingly insurmountable gap if listening, wisdom, determination and professionalism are lacking. A myopia vision in medicine, in health creates economic hardship. Listening to those who know how to do must be preparatory to acting as administrators so that they grasp the problem, feel the needs of a reality to create a union and improve the quality of life.

Followed by the interventions of Dr. Santina Patanè director of the complex operating unit of child neuropsychiatry who launched the call for greater attention to prevention because already in childhood and pre-adolescence there is an evolving psychiatric patient; Dr. De Luca who deals with psycho-geriatrics who asked the candidates present not to close a service of considerable importance with 1000 elderly users with mental problems; by Dr. Frazzica of Cittadinanzattiva who hopes that new horizons will open up for the city.
