Mission Gigg wins the Samsung Innovation Camp

It was Giovanni in Galleria Giannoni who won the 2021/2022 edition of Samsung Innovation Camp, a project developed by Samsung Electronics Italia together with a selected group of Italian universities and local authorities, which was created with the aim of accompanying students in a training course dedicated to digital innovation, aimed at offering those skills increasingly required by the labor market and preparing them to build the professional profiles of the future. Focus of this edition, the enhancement of the naturalistic, artistic and cultural heritage through digital tools, with the aim of supporting the sector of Culture and Tourism, particularly affected in this historical moment.

His project, named Mission Gigg, was developed by Amine Mhimida, Claudia Maciocca, Erika Di Grigoli and Rosario Loiacono, students of the University of Eastern Piedmont. And it won the final victory among the more than 2000 students who participated in the initiative. Second and third place respectively are VisitDolomites, an idea of ​​the team from the University of Trento and Muddika, a project by the students of the University of Catania.

“Innovation Camp – explain the organizers – program now in its fifth edition which has so far trained over 30,000 students from 21 universities throughout Italy, is a real training course that integrates with the university courses already started and which allows participants to develop new digital but also managerial and marketing skills, particularly required by the world of work. Developed in collaboration with Randstad, an international agency specializing in HR services, it is organized in stages and open to students of all faculties ”.
