Netflix announces ‘Bioshock’ adaptation to be co-produced by 2K and Vertigo
Netflix announced today (2/16) that it will collaborate with 2K and Take-Two Interactive to produce a live-action film adaptation of the well-known video game “BioShock”, which will be co-produced by Vertigo Entertainment and 2K.

“Bioshock” is a video game series published by Take-Two Interactive’s brand 2K. It inherits the spirit of “System Shock”, takes dystopia as the main axis, integrates elements such as science fiction and horror, and explores existentialism and social issues , which reshapes the narrative of video games and presents it through first-person action-adventure gameplay. A total of 3 works were launched before and after, and the cumulative global sales exceeded 39 million sets.

The latest Bioshock game is currently in production by 2K’s studio Cloud Chamber.
