New Gym at “Raggi” Primary School in Roncadello Reopens After Flood Damage
The gym at the “Raggi” primary school in Roncadello is back in action after being severely compromised by flooding last May. The official inauguration took place on Thursday morning with local officials and representatives present to celebrate the reopening.
Mayor Gian Luca Zattini, deputy mayor Daniele Mezzacapo, councilors Vittorio Cicognani and Paola Casara, and Ance director Giovanni Calzolari were among those in attendance. The restoration works involved repairing the flooring and structures that were damaged by the flood waters and mud.
In addition to the repairs, the Lions Club Forlì Host generously donated mats to protect students’ backs and lumbar areas, as well as mattresses and fitness circles of various sizes to enhance the gym’s equipment.
The reopening of the gym is a welcome development for the school and the community, providing students with a safe and functional space to stay active and healthy. The school is grateful for the support received in restoring the gym and looks forward to seeing students enjoy the newly refurbished space.
