“After the success of the collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad over the past year, we are very pleased to see the partnership enter a new phase of development, giving more and more users around the world the chance to enjoy the legendary mobile imaging experience Hasselblad“, afferma Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer. “The color performance of the camera has always been a point of great attention for Oppo and part of Hasselblad’s DNA. Oppo and Hasselblad will work together to further develop advanced imaging solutions through the collaboration of their respective R&D departments, to provide users with more natural colors and a more refined photographic experience. By leveraging Hasselblad’s natural color calibration, Oppo also aims to make skin tone as natural as possible, in portrait mode. The Shenzhen-based company launched its first self-developed imaging NPU processor, MariSilicon X, last year and is now further committed to delivering a premium photographic experience by partnering with Hasselblad. Building on improvements in color rendering software, this partnership will further improve the calibration solution, becoming the new benchmark in smartphone photography performance by providing more natural and accurate colors in all possible scenarios. Hasselblad Camera for Mobile technology will be introduced for the first time in the next generation of the Oppo Find X series, arriving in the first quarter of 2022.
