From 19 to 25 May, the Celebration Days of the University of Padua celebrate the beginning of the eight hundredth academic year with conferences, conventions, shows and exhibitions: in fact, the foundation of the Padua university dates back to 1222, born as University of Jurist. The inauguration of the academic year will take place on Thursday 19 May in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.
