Parasitic ‘twin’ removed from the brain of a 1-year-old Chinese girl

The black and white images of the cranial CT and then those of the post-surgery are impressive: a fetus from which you can see the outline of a spine, upper limbs and even some fingers. Just as it is impressive to imagine that this same fetus remained hidden inside the brain of a one-year-old Chinese girl, the one who would have been her identical twin if she had ever been born.
