Prevention in pediatric age: to raise awareness of vaccines, yes to health education and school doctors

Speaking at the conference “The value of pediatric influenza vaccination: new challenges and opportunities”, promoted by AstraZeneca in Rome, the president of the XII Social Affairs commission of the Chamber, Ugo Cappellacci, he reiterated that the first duty of politics is to listen and that vaccination in pediatric age is a very important challenge. To win it “all the tools must be evaluated”, including “the school doctor”. Cappellacci therefore hoped that the bill which aims to establish health education in compulsory schools, to transfer it to the generations the necessary attention to prevention”.
