After the Iskur model, Razer is introducing its own second chair designed for those who spend a lot of time in front of the computer: his name is Enki.
The chair comes in a decidedly bulky box that it contains a pair of gloves to avoid injury during assembly (but which are without grip, therefore not suitable for lifting), a special key to screw the various bolts and the various parts of which the structure is composed, i.e. seat, backrest, spring tilting system, wheels, armrests and base .
Our advice is to do not mount it by yourself, even if it is a fairly simple operation that can be completed in about ten minutes.

How can you adjust
Enki has a very wide seat and backrest, which make it suitable for people up to 135 kg in weight and about two meters in height, but this measure, combined with the fact that the memory foam cushion can be positioned in two different positions, it also makes it suitable for smaller figures, who can take advantage of the space available for an even more comfortable seat. From the point of view of adjustments it is obviously possible to manage the height and the inclination of the backrest, which reaches an angle of 125 °, hence almost a horizontal position. It is also possible to adjust the inclination of the seat and the force necessary to make it recline and manage the height and rotation of the armrests in 4 different directions, so as to always find the optimal position.
When it comes to materials, the Razer Enki has a solid metal base with firmly anchored wheels that appear to be able to comfortably carry heavy loads without deforming. The coating is a mix of synthetic leather and fabric: the first is on the sides and in a strip in the center, while the very resistant quilted fabric is on the seat and back.

How you sit
All in all, this choice is the most suitable, considering the span of 365 days in which you can find yourself in front of the computer, but obviously it involves some compromises: the skin is easier to clean, but also a lot warmer, less resistant to possible scratches and perhaps more uncomfortable in the long run; the fabric, on the other hand, can accumulate more dust or stained with sweat in the warmer months, but at the same time creates a little less heat and resists prolonged wear and rubbing better. Balancing pros and cons, the choice turns out to be quite balanced.
As for the softness of the padding, Razer has chosen to use one harder on the back, to give more support, and a softer one on the seat, so as to ensure greater comfort and help circulation.
Ma how does the Enki behave in terms of comfort? Definitely good, also because there is a lot of space to find the right position and the soft (but not too much) padding allows you to sit for a long time without feeling any discomfort. The lumbar support is good (but not adjustable), while the additional memory foam pillow can be useful, but there will be certain heights where it could prove more annoying than comfortable, because it has only two positions: or fixed with an elastic band in the part. high backrest or with a loop in the rear holes for smaller people. Overall, the Enki turned out to be a perfect gaming throne, enveloping, comfortable and suitable both for relaxed play and for writing an entire afternoon. And then there is also the visual aspect: while maintaining some notes of fluo green typical of the brand, the predominance of black makes it less invasive in many contexts, therefore also suitable for living rooms or studios that are not perfectly in line with the gamer archetype.
Obviously the price of the Razer Enki, that is 329 euros, is not low, but it is in line with the products of the competition: the build quality, the materials and the impression that it can last for years justify the expense of a chair capable of accompanying us even if the physiognomy and weight should change over time.
