With a view to increasingly stimulating the dialogue between business and academia, Rta Robotics e
the University of Pavia signed an agreement that acts as a technological bridge and has three main objectives: to activate an exchange of skills and technical know-how on advanced robotics, to support the University thanks to robots made available to students and of PhD students, to create the perfect conditions for an open system, made up of highly trained staff. “We are confident that having PhD students and application engineers with proven business experience side by side is a winning mix to face the challenges of our most advanced customers” explained Tommaso Rossini. Rta Robotics is also committed to funding a PhD in Industrial Robotics, starting from October this year, again at the University of Pavia: the PhD student will work in RTA and will carry out, in parallel, applied research activities aimed at create academic publications. “We have signed a win-win agreement with RTA: an Anthropomorphic Robot is made available to us to be able to carry out research and develop scientific publications, while we offer our partner technical consultancy on particularly demanding topics”.
