Könecke Sp. Z oo has recalled two sausage products due to a colonization with the bacterium E. Coli. In the products Yayla Sucuk in slices with a best before date of February 9, 2024 and Yayla Sucuk in Stücken with the best before date of March 9, 2024. The bacteria were detected in routine examinations.

Infections with the bacterium E. Coli, which produces Shiga toxin, can cause serious illnesses, especially in children under the age of six and in older people, writes “Productwarnings.de”. In healthy people, the bacteria cause severe diarrhea.

Product returns possible without a receipt

Consumers are advised to dispose of the products in stock or return them to the supermarket checkout for a refund of the purchase price. A receipt is not necessary for this.
