Donate a meeting and fun place to over 500 young people of the northern outskirts of Milan and an essential point of reference for their families. This is the mission he saw Milan Foundation, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policiesil the municipality of Milan, Sports and Health, FIGC, Davide Astori Association e Kite Foundation take to the field side by side to give life to Fontanelli Spacea redeveloped multisport field within a green area of Milan’s Municipality 9 which will be dedicated to the memory of Davide Astorialways sensitive to social issues and the right of every child to be able to play their own game.
The project is the final moment of the “Sport and Integration” project #IOVENGODALLOSPORT, which falls within the scope of the project promoted and financed by Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and developed by Sports and Healthin synergy with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), for the promotion of positive support and a culture of inclusiveness. AC Milan allocated the prize from the #IOVENGODALLOSPORT contest to the redevelopment of Spazio Fontanelli, which stimulated many sports associations to share their history of sport and integration and saw the Rossoneri Club among the winners, thanks to a video project created from its Youth Sector.
The inauguration of the camp was celebrated today, in the presence of institutions and representatives of the promoting bodies such as the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policies Maria Teresa Belluccithe Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Salathe Honorary Vice President of AC Milan and Ambassador of the Milan Foundation Franco Baresithe National Secretary of the FIGC Youth and School Sector Vito di Gioiathe Head of Social Policies and the Third Sector of Sport and Health Stefano Gobbithe President of Municipality 9 Anita Pirovanothe General Director of Fondazione Aquilone Fausto Rizzi and the Association Secretary Davide Astori Bruno Astori.
To continue to honor his memory and carry forward the commitment towards the future of the younger generations, Spazio Fontanelli will be dedicated to Davide Astorithrough and a mural, created by local artists from the We Run the Streets collective.
