Shakey’s Pizza at 7001 West Santa Monica Boulevard will be demolished to make room for Tesla’s new 9,300-square-foot project, according to the filing.
The restaurant will include an enclosed lower level of approximately 3,800 feet, and a 5,500-foot outdoor seating and enclosed food preparation area. The car park will have 34 charging stations, including 29 supercharging stations and five secondary charging stations. Customers will be able to watch movies on both screens. These movies will last approximately 30 minutes, the time it takes to charge the vehicle. Tesla has asked to allow restaurants and charging stations to be open 24 hours a day.
