Early diagnosis thanks to artificial intelligence

The startup SynDiag, for example, develops solutions based on artificial intelligence for objective, quantitative and predictive ultrasound: a revolution for the gynecological field in which ultrasound is the gold standard for diagnosis, is simple, not dangerous and has a cost effective, but the correct interpretation depends on the operator who performs it. The service, called OvAI, is a cloud platform where gynecologists can find support while interpreting ultrasound scans, request remote second opinions and take advantage of real-time access to high-quality databases for continuous learning.
The 3D holographic platform to improve clinical outcomes
The sixth startup intervened, Artiness, finally, aims to put the enormous potential of mixed reality at the service of the medical world, providing doctors and surgeons with an effective, reliable and intuitive 3D holographic platform to improve clinical results. Born as a spin-off from the Politecnico di Milano in 2018, it develops solutions to support education in the medical field, training and the procedure of the surgical approach; manufactures products based on a Cloud software platform for pre-operative planning and for in-room support, as well as ad hoc developments for courses and conferences in the medical field. Furthermore, its target market are hospitals and clinical centers.
