The product concerned is sold in packs of 320 grams and belongs to lots number 21170 with expiration 14/01/2023, 21166 with expiration 18/01/2023, 21079 with expiration 15/04/2023 and 22292 with expiration 14/09/2023 .

In the end, flurry of withdrawals and stops as regards the fish market. Withdrawals concern all branded dried products Mama Africa, products sold in cellophane bags or in plastic trays. The stop is due to the fact that the foods were produced “in an establishment not recognized and deemed unsuitable for the meaning of Reg. 178/2002”. In detail, the withdrawal of Mama Africa branded products concerns all batches and all expiry dates of dried catfish, sardines, stockfish, shrimp, lizardfish, tilapia, suro and umbrina. The recalled dried fish products were distributed by the company Alimenti del Mondo-Italia Srl. As always in these circumstances, the recommendation – as a precaution – is not to consume the products concerned but to bring them back to the point of sale where they were purchased to obtain an exchange or refund.
