Here we are. After weeks of doubts and uncertainties, TvBlog announced a preview of the definitive cast of the new edition of The Island of the Famous. Starting soon, in prime time on Canale 5, the reality show will be broadcast from Monday 8 April, two weeks after the final of Big Brother of March 25th. An edition full of innovations, with the unprecedented management of Vladimir Luxuria flanked by Sonia Bruganelli and by the journalist Dario Maltese, who will take on the role of commentator in the studio for the first time. He also surprised the correspondent: telling us about the adventures of the shipwrecked people from Honduras will be Elenoire Casalegno.
The definitive cast
In recent days, all the names of possible shipwrecked people ready to land in Honduras have been released but, up to this moment, nothing official. A few hours ago, however, the announcement. Landing in Honduras to win the victory of one of the reality shows that puts the physical and mental resistance of the competitors to the test, on the female side will be: the former fencer Valentina Vezzali, loved Yanes (actress, recently seen in the film The Sex of Angels by Leonardo Pieraccioni), the porn star Selenium (born Luce Caponegro). And again, Miss Italia 2023 is also in the cast, Francesca Bergesiand the showgirl Matilda Brandi (already used to reality TV, with participation in the Big Brother VIP 2020). In the end, Greta Zuccarello (known to the small screen audience for being one of the dancers in the cast of Hi Darwin) and we close with the actress Marina Suma.
As regards the men’s part on the island we will find the winner of Masterchef 2022, Edward Francothe soap actor of the moment Bitter Earth, Aras Senol. So, Joe Bastianichmodel Artur Dainesethe conductor Edward Stop and the dancer and choreographer Samuel Peron. These are the 13 contestants confirmed by TvBlog. It is not yet known whether, as often happens, new castaways will be announced during the episodes of the show.

Then, regarding the new edition of the Honduran reality show, Pier Silvio Berlusconi explained: “There is a will and desire to constantly evolve our product and we would like to try to do that a new Island of the Famous with all the typical dynamics of reality shows with characters of any type but bringing the stories and a deeper narrative to the center”. Naturally, this is also why we opted for Vladimir Luxuria, an expert in reality TV. And again, she added: “It’s a beautiful story, a challenge that we hope to work well together. The cast will be mixed, between known people and unknown people, like Big Brother. I consider it an enrichment”.
In short, apparently, everything is ready for the start of the reality show: “the spirit of the island” awaits us from Monday 8 April in prime time on Canale 5.
