This is said by the regional councilor for Health and Social Services, Manuela Lanzarin, replying to Paolino Barbiero, former secretary of CGIL Pensionati who had accused the Region of having used funds for essential services, also underlining how the funding could be used as a sharing of the families of the elderly in the RSA. “No one has taken anything away from services for the elderly – continues the commissioner Lanzarin – e I find it unacceptable that even the idea of ​​a lack of attention by the Region towards families and the reality of the RSA is aired. In fact, in the last year we have approved 6 measures, for a total of 45,908,401 euros of extraordinary contributions in this area. Finally, I find it not useful to play on the contrast between services and the Faculty of Medicine. Given the difficulty in finding health professionals that we have suffered in our facilities for years, it is certainly not an impoverishment to invest in the training and growth of new doctors. The goal is always and only to guarantee services to citizens, ”concludes the commissioner.
