According to the National Screening Observatory, with 2.5 million missed exams in 2020 and a 5-month delay in carrying out the checks, more tumors will be discovered at an advanced stage, with serious risks for the health of patients. At the same time, the technological acceleration that this last period has given to medicine has offered greater tools capable of improving medical performance in this sense, even against cancer.
